Collection: Crystal & Enamel

With the popularity of charms growing rapidly at the beginning of last century and makers becoming increasingly innovative, it wasn't long before colour was introduced to many designs, with the insetting of precious stones, semi-precious gems or crystals and the addition of enamel painted elements. The enamelling process results in a unique finish each time, as there is always some variation in the paint colours post-firing, and creates an exceptionally long-lasting finish that preserves the colours' vibrancy. Some of the most beautiful examples of enamelling are seen on Walter Lampl's highly sought after hearts, each representing a month of the year and displaying a corresponding hand-painted flower and birthstone inset into the charm.
